Over Worked Muscles

Over worked muscles cause pain and aggravation.  A long soak in a warm tub followed by a simple massage can do wonders to alleviate muscles pain and spasm.

Bath Soak: Combine 3 drops of Marjoram and 2 drops of Lemon with 2 Cups of Epsom Salts.  Add to a full bath and enjoy a nice long relaxing bath.

Muscle Massage Oil:

30ml - Fractionated Coconut Oil
5 drops - Eucalyptus Essential Oil
5 drops - Peppermint Essential Oil
5 drops - Ginger Essential Oil

Combine ingredients and massage into affected muscles.

Sinus Pain & Pressure Relief

To 45ml of Sunflower or Fractionated Coconut Oil add the following
5 drops Rosemary Essential Oil  
5 drops Geranium Essential Oil
2 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil
3 drops Peppermint Essential Oil 

Massage on neck, behind and in front of ears, forehead, around nose and cheeks.

GRAPEFRUIT SPA SALT GLOW

1 cup - fine dead sea salts
3/4 cup- Carrier Oil (Sunflower, Avocado, Jojoba)
40 drops - Pink  Grapefruit essential oil
20 drops - Lemon essential oil
10 drops - Ylang Ylang essential oil
 
Stir essential oils into the carrier oil.  Add the salts and mix well. Pour into a tight sealing jar. You can substitute the carrier oil with one you prefer or use a mixture of different carrier oils.
 
To obtain wonderfully radiant skin with intense moisturizing, swirl your salt glow with your fingertips or a spoon to blend. Scoop out a generous amount and apply with hand, washcloth or loofah to entire body, avoid face.  Step into shower stream & watch your salt glow bead up and roll off your skin.   Avoid any cuts/scrape.
Green Tea Bath Salts
Green Tea is rich in antioxidants and is a wonderful addition to any skin care product.  This bath salt is quick and easy to make and leaves your skin feeling wonderful.

1 cup - Dead Sea Salts
1/8teaspoon - Green Tea Extract
 
Directions: Mix together well and store in tight sealing jar.  Add 1/2 to 1 Cup of mixture to warm bath and enjoy!


Basic Body Butter

90 ml - CocoaButter

60 ml - SunflowerOil

2.5 ml - StericAcid

2.5 ml - Beeswax

2 ml - VitaminE

5ml - Essential Oil(s) of your choice
 

Add first four ingredient to a double boiler and melt together.  Once melted, leave mixture in double boiler over water for another 10 minutes.  Stir frequently.  Take off heat and let cool.  Add Vitamin E and essential oils, mix well and distribute into jars.
 

Makes 2 - 60g jars


Inhalation for Colds and Flu
 
4 drops - Eucalyptus Essential Oil
4 drops - Pine Essential Oil

3 drops - Lemon Essential

 

Add to a large bowl of steaming water. Covering your head lean over the bowl and inhale deeply for 2-5 minutes. May also be added to a diffuser or vaporizer.  For young children substitute Eucalyptus with Myrtle.
